Our Story

Our humble beginnings trace back to the mid 1980’s when Salvador Pedroza (a meat butcher at the time) along with his older brother, Jesus, started mopping hot-tar from their home-made kettle on Chicago flat roofs for a couple hundred dollars. From this small-time job grew a passion, from this passion grew a career, and in 1988, Economy Roofing was born.

30+ years later, our track-record encompasses thousands of roofs throughout the Chicago Illinois area, from large-scale commercial replacement projects to countless single-family homes. While our team, experience, and capabilities have surely grown, our values, determination, and commitment to quality remain stronger than ever.
