The Kurtz family has been in the construction business for over half a century. It all began in 1953 when Grandpa Ron landed his first construction job in Cleveland, OH. Although he passed away unexpectedly soon after moving to Atlantic Beach, FL, his love for the craft and attention to detail were passed to his son, John who began laying brick immediately after graduating from Fletcher High School. It wasn’t long after that he tired of being taken advantage of as a laborer and recognized that he could do a better job on his own.
