ABOUT RLS CONSTRUCTION

Rodney Smith, President and Owner of RLS Construction (Formally known as Rodney Lee Smith Construction, Incorporated) has over thirty years’ experience within the construction business.

As a child he built treehouses and forts in the neighborhood and even did some carpentry for friends and neighbors. His formal training began at Diamond Oaks Vocational School in 1980 where he enrolled in the Construction and Carpentry class.

After graduating in 1982, he began working as a Carpenter/Framer and completed all aspects of residential construction, from framing new homes to finish carpentry on the interior. After achieving the level of Master Carpenter, he decided to branch out on his own, and RLS Construction began.

RLS by far is the best!! Not like the bigger box companies, RLS takes pride in what they do. On a recommendation from my neighbor I called them after calling several other companies who were either too busy to come out (three week wait time for one) or just did not return my calls at all. Called Ryan, and his dad, Rodney, was out within a day. The workers knew their work and the job foreman Tony was great. They even took down some old exhaust pipes and chimney box, replacing wih better looking vent covers. Everything was great!!! Highly recommend
