Big mistake giving JW roofing of Santa Ana a second chance! I would not recommend this company! They are UNPROFFESIONAL! Iu2019m upset with my self for trusting and hoping this company would do the right thing. They messed up years ago when they installed my roof and we noticed signs of sinking in various areas right away and through out the years. The owner did not care and told us that an engineer approved the construction of the job. He did not want to look at the sinking and give his opinion of what happen.nnOur roof started leaking last month AGAIN in one place and it was a minor leak. So my boyfriend called JW roofing again giving them a SECOND chance which he believes in. The owner said he can fix the minor leak and check the rest of the roof out to make sure there would be no other issues. He quoted us $1500 to go through replace all the tiles that are cracked or could become a problem. Believing he would replace which he said around 40-50 tiles. We also told JW roofing we would NOT be there on Friday, but thatu2019s the day he choose to come and fix our roof, when we were not there to really see what was going on.nMy boyfriend thought maybe JW roofing would do a better job this time, but instead it got worst. After they supposedly replaced tiles and checked out our roofu2014well it rained and was leaking in 4 places within days of them doing the job. THEY DID NOT DO WHAT THEY SAID. We have pictures of all 4 leaks. I was shocked, we held back from paying them until the roof was fixed correctly.nWe asked for a receipt showing the amount of tiles they purchased for our job, because it only looked like a very few. The owner would not reply, if he wasnu2019t hiding anything why would he not show us the amount of tile they supposedly BOUGHT AND INSTALLED for our job.nWe talked with a couple of contractors and asked about the cost and they both gave their opinion and said itu2019 look like a $600 job for the actual work they did. OMG really $1500 they charged for a few tiles on a one story house all in two small areas in the front of the house. They took advantage of us and I would never ever recommend this company!nWe called the owner and told him the issues and he was not interested in fixing it. They wanted their MONEY only. They did a very quick fix and out! I had to pay another roofer to fix the 4 leaks which was very reasonable.nMy boyfriend DID end up paying JW roofing the total amount, just to be done with the owner John of JW roofing. The owner is a rude person and only cares about the money not quality.nEveryone said not to pay that outrageous amount for the little amount of lousy work they did. But because the owner is a friend of one of our friends thatu2019s the ONLY reason he was paid the whole $1500. Never again! We found out it was a terrrible job, over priced and he took advantage of us not being home at the time to see what they really did. We NEVER received any receipt telling us what they did or warranty from them after asking several times. Shame on us for trusting this company again! The owner knows he was in the wrong!
